Waking up to a brand new day at Suvarnabhumi

Airport in Bangkok

Good Mooooooorning Bangkok! I was at Suvarnabhumi Airport, just woke up after a good 4 hour of sleep…If you just landed here, have a look at how the journey started in Shanghai : Let the backpacking start in Thailand and don’t forget to come back here afterwards to keep going…

My flight was quite comfortable…I love flying with local airline companies…

This was the  first time I slept in an airport but that was a really good one…As you can remember, I was not only carrying my clothes but also all my electronic devices…So you may ask “how could I sleep so comfortable?” Well, I found my own method to save my belongings from being stolen…I tied them all to each other and finally to me and then went to sleep holding everything, haha…I was sure that it looked interesting but as I was holding my camera in my arms tied to everything, I couldn’t take a picture of the moment or wake someone up to ask for that… Another time…

Here is me, just woke up to a brand new day at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and found myself in front of a cafe…well, obviously my stomache was in charge!

In the picture below it says “Do not touch”! Ups, too late!  I already touched them! They should have written it bigger haha! They were looking yummy! I got the yellow ones…

I am gonna make a confession here! I am literally programmed not to see these “do not touch” and “do not take a photo” warnings as default…This picture always makes me laugh out loud…

Good boy!

Good boy!

In China at theatres, when you take a picture, one of the staff comes and shows a big, shiny “DO NOT TAKE A PICTURE” sign and hold it close to your face to make sure that you see it. One time I took a picture of the sign too… Do not judge me guys! It was really interesting so I needed to do it and I wasn’t the only one…Ok, I am done with the excuses…

Ohhh nooo Family Mart! Seriously!  You may not know what I am talking about but  this market is literally everywhere in China, everywhere! I mean you go out from one of the Family Mart stores and after 30 steps(doesn’t matter which direction you walk towards) you see another Family Mart… Marketing and sales strategy experts saying this won’t work…Hell yeah it works so good here in Asia…It would be a great case study!

The taxi drivers were looking extremely friendly when I thought about the ones in Shanghai, this made me laugh out loud…To see human taxi drivers smiling can make you happy especially in Shanghai when you can be kicked out of the taxi just beacuse the taxi driver doesn’t understand your Chinese…It was also interesting to see them waiting in a long line outside their taxis for their turn…
